In 2015, IAB Canada identified an existing gap between post-secondary digital media education and industry readiness. The industry has been experiencing a shortage in experienced talent and more importantly, a shortage in talent that has been exposed to the multitude of platforms that are essential for success in today’s online media marketplace. As part of IAB Canada’s long-standing commitment to closing this gap and delivering the highest quality in online media education, the association has launched a new program entitled IAB Canada 360° Digital Media Certificate courses.
Taught by industry experts, the series is designed to expose students to a broad spectrum of platforms and services in a hands-on training environment. The programs are each designed with several modules that take place across 3-4 months providing students the ability to absorb what they’ve learned and put their skills to practice. Each 360° program concludes with assignments involving all the tools that have been learned.
