What are we looking for ?
Pelmorex Corp is currently looking for a highly motivated and creative Client Strategist for our Client Strategy & Solutions team. Leveraging strong expertise, creativity and initiative, this role will work in conjunction with our Client Partners to generate advertising revenue by developing strategic custom integrated media solutions across our platforms that meet client needs and objectives.
What does it entail?
This key role will consist of marketing expert who is responsible for partnering with Sales and our internal stakeholders across all platforms (video & editorial, data, web, mobile web, mobile apps, video, PC apps, tablet, TV, iTV and Connected TV) and leading the creation and process of strategic, out of the box, creative, content and innovative solutions for our agencies and clients.

Develop recommendations for strategic solutions across our platforms while supporting client objectives and helping them to solve marketing challenges that drive results

Instrumental in leading brainstorm sessions to create strategic, content, creative, insight based and revenue driven solutions for RFP and proactive opportunities

Responsible for researching client/category, ideation, managing of approvals and pricing in order to create a presentation in response to a client brief or proactive opportunity

Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as the liaison between them and the Sales team, and lead internal cross-team efforts to brainstorm, implement solutions as well as disseminate information in a clear, concise and efficient way.

Work closely with our Research Strategist to identify insights & stats to support our recommendations

Work closely with Pelmorex Data Solutions to ensure we are leveraging data insights and solutions with our recommendations

Work with internal teams to identify revenue-generating opportunities for sales from new creative units to sponsorships and content opportunities.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, freelancers to manage production cost estimates

As needed, support our internal teams in the planning phase of a program execution

Attend and actively participate in presentations to clients as required (in person or via phone)
Qualification Stack

University or College Graduate in Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Advertising or related field

A minimum of 3 – 5 years media, marketing or advertising agency experience

A proven track record translating marketing objectives into results for advertisers

High level knowledge of the digital landscape, integrated advertising trends, strategy & best practices.

Experience in building or executing programs that include content based recommendations

High proficiency in Microsoft Power Point and Excel

A strategic thinker who can interpret research data and insights to identify the best solution for our clients

Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills

Team-player who can lead while collaborating with sales and internal departments

Well-organized, detailed-oriented and able to work well under short deadlines

Experience with research analytics and insights software (e.g., Omniture, PMB, InfoSys, Statista, eMarketer) is an asset

Agency and brand marketing experience is an asset
