What’s this Role about ?

The Account Executive, Data is all about networking with the technical minds at the media agencies and building relationships with key stakeholders (agency and client direct). You understand the current state of data and how it impacts digital marketing. This role tirelessly represents Pelmorex Data Solutions  (PDS) to media buyers and clients direct to maximize sales and revenue and are continuously partnering with the TWN and Pelmorex Audience agency reps get a larger piece of the digital pie. Your goal is to keep Pelmorex Data Solutions (PDS) top of mind both internally and externally.

What’s the Day to Day Look Like:

  • Partner with the agency reps and business development executives to create a strategic approach to selling through data-driven media solutions

  • Network with agencies and clients direct to sell through data-driven solutions

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with decision makers to build lucrative business opportunities

  • Consistently attain and/or surpass sales and revenue targets to earn market competitive incentives

  • Analyze, negotiate, execute, and optimize data driven campaigns from a sales perspective

  • Identify strategic data opportunities to engage buyers and drive incremental revenue

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of potential buyers and convert these relationships into new deals

  • Maintain an ‘always learning’ attitude. Stay ahead of the industry thinking on emerging trends

  • Understand the dynamics of SSP’s, DSP’s, Ad Exchanges and DMP’s

  • Develop and deliver effective presentations to clients/prospects

  • Attend industry functions

  • Manage expense budgets appropriately


Qualifications (Must Haves):

  • 3-5 years of media sales and/or digital marketing experience

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite

  • University Degree/College Diploma preferably in Advertising, Sales and/or Marketing (preferred)

  • Proven success in opening doors to new client opportunities

  • Established record of sales success and revenue generation preferably in media

  • Understands and can communicate the complexities of data and how it impacts media
