Bell Media Digital is hiring a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join the #1 Online Media Operations team in Canada. The ideal candidate is a highly energetic, dynamic, revenue focused professional who will thrive in developing, testing and implementing innovative digital advertising opportunities.
The TAM team is responsible for implementation, verification, and launch of Revenue focused initiatives across digital verticals of Bell Media. This position is a key role within our Digital Monetization team and is at the forefront of shaping the future of our digital business and ad serving technologies on OTT and connected TV environments, desktop, mobile web and apps, across all Bell Media Digital brands.
Responsibilities:

- Prime on cross-platform integration of Digital ad opportunities (ie: Connected TV platforms and emerging platforms like gaming consoles) ensuring proper implementation of advertising technology (ex: Ad server, DMP, SSP, header bidding, viewability)
- Lead on developing strategic technical solutions to maximize returns and delivering positive client success metrics on emerging platforms and connected tv devices.
- Project manage strategic revenue-driven initiatives to deliver high impact business results while ensuring distribution compliance from platform agreements
- Develop innovative solutions to improve workflows and lead the industry in digital advertising best practices especially in advanced tv and emerging platforms
- Exhibit thought leadership to drive resolution of ad-related technical issues
- Identify opportunities to create or revise monetization workflows and processes for improved client experience and revenue maximization
- Identify new ad technologies and network enhancements to protect revenue and deliver unique client focused opportunities
- Prime for on-going technical upgrades and validations across brands and platforms
- Enforce standard policies and procedures to maintain quality standards and improve customer satisfaction on Bell Media’s advertising opportunities
Desired Experience:

- 3+ years experience in Digital Ad Monetization
- 2+ years experience in Project Management preferably within Digital advertising
- Strong working knowledge of one or more Ad Management Systems(Examples: GAM, ADX, FreeWheel, Cadent, Triton TAP, AdsWizz, etc)

- Experience with online advertising technologies (HTML5, Streaming video/audio, DAI, VAST, VPAID, VMAP)
- Working knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, DMPs with high focus on Header Bidding/Pre-bid technologies
- Familiar with auction based bidding fundamentals (Deal IDs, Auction Types, Open vs. Private Marketplaces) and programmatic metrics (Winning Bid Price, Bid rate, eCPM, Closing Price, etc)
- Knowledge of ad tech SDKs and DAI integration
- Knowledge of stream conditioning of transcoders and packagers using ESAM, SCTE markers for cue point insertion
- Understanding of Manifest manipulator solution and architecture
- Experience with video players (ex JW Player, Brightcove, Adobe, etc) and CMS systems, an asset
- Knowledge of web tools: Charles Proxy, Fiddler, developer tools, etc.
- Experience with troubleshooting digital platforms and 3rd party tags, web development skills an asset (ex: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS)
- Knowledge of IAB ad formats and emerging online trends (Examples: Viewability, HTML5, Ad Blocking, Ad Fraud)
- Comprehensive understanding of campaign success and reporting metrics: conversions, CPM’s, CPC’s and CPA’s
