Chris is an innovative digital marketer and leader with 20 years’ experience in marketing communication, technological innovation, and data-driven loyalty & analytics. At Points, Chris leads the Online Demand Generation, Marketing Services, and PR groups, and is responsible for the strategy, media planning, creative design and execution of user acquisition strategies for Points International hotel & airline partner’s marketing programs.
Gah-Yee Won, Chair
Scotiabank, Director, Global Digital Marketing Strategy
Gah-Yee oversees digital marketing projects for the bank. Prior to Scotia, she was most recently at MediaCom, as the Director of Digital Strategy, in charge of thought leadership and education for all planners at the agency. Her portfolio of clients included Mars-Wrigley, PC Financial and Bayer. While in this position, she also participated in many of the largest media agency pitches in Canada, including P&G, Loblaw (LCL) and The Home Depot. Previous to that, she served as Digital Account Director on P&G where she led digital execution for the agency’s largest client. She helped P&G expand programmatic buying, participated in their volume negotiations and championed first to market and innovative opportunities. Prior to joining MediaCom, she held the title of Director, Digital Activation at ZenithOptimedia, where she established the digital buying group; handled agency-supplier negotiations, ad ops and lead major innovation projects. She also helped to launch ZO’s trading desk, becoming the agency expert in all things programmatic. Gah-Yee has actively participated in the IAB Agency Council and Programmatic Committee. She has also contributed to several IAB conferences, including the Programmatic X-Series and MIXX.
