Senior Manager, Marketing Science
Summary
As the Senior Manager, Marketing Science you will manage media insights and analytics to demonstrate the business value of marketing and media investments. In this role, you will manage the performance, growth, and development of direct reports. You will be part of a team with highly skilled analytics and data science team members, and you will sit at the intersection of research, analytics, strategy and performance. As a leader in the organization, you will also inspire, encourage, and engage colleagues from across OMG.

Responsibilities
- Build and develop a deep understanding of the client’s strategic issues, initiatives and the competitive position.
- Support in the development of recommendations in the measurement plan and execution.
- Ensure a timely follow through on all scheduled and ad hoc deliverables.
- Generate and communicate clear, compelling and actionable insights; constructing insightful narratives through sophisticated analytic techniques.
- Support in the implementation research that aids the consumer insight gathering and strategic process.
- Identify opportunities and provide guidance to continuously improve processes.
- Lead, mentor, and train analysts.
- Oversee and provide feedback on reports, POVs and other materials presented to clients.
- Oversee the consumer segmentation and audience identification/exploration processes.
- Support in designing tests to measure the incremental impact of media on business outcomes.
- Manage cross-functional day-to-day tasks, ensuring understanding of proper priorities, knowing when to ask for help.
- Advocate for the integration of OMG solutions, capabilities, and products to deliver better outcomes for clients
- Manage team utilization of Omni, in order to effectively leverage our people-based marketing platform to drive targeted audience activation, develop creative channel planning ideas, analyze digital content inventory, and contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts.

- Exceptional narrative skills, demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories that engage the audience, convey complex ideas clearly in order to effectively detail a strategy, problem, solution or Initiative.
Experiences
- Experience at a media agency, client, marketing analytics firm, or in a quantitative, data-driven field.
- 3-5+ years leading and developing a strong analytics and/or data science team.
- Experience with marketing mix modeling/econometric analysis and/or other branches of market research (custom survey research, advertising testing or tracking, new product research, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience with syndicated research sources/tools (e.g. ComScore, Nielsen, etc.)
- Familiarity with marketing technology (e.g. Data Management Platforms), ad-serving (e.g. Google DCM), and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Client Management: Strong ability to discover, interpret, and respond to client needs.
