Funding & Resources for Businesses and Employees:

On March 27, 2020 the federal government announced a 75% wage subsidy for SMEs impacted by COVID-19.
$10 billion is available to Canadian businesses in financing and credit insurance solutions through Export Development Canada (EDC) and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).
Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) has developed a new Work Sharing Program to help employers and employees avoid layoffs.
Canada’s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan will provide $27 billion in direct support to Canadian workers and businesses.
The Department of Finance has announced a number of measures for individuals and businesses, including allowing businesses to defer, until after August 31, 2020, the payment of any income tax amounts.
The Government of Canada announced the new Canada Emergency Response Benefit for workers and businesses.

How to apply for Employment Insurance.
In Quebec – The provincial government created the PACME Training Program. The program aims to provide direct financial support to businesses in order to promote training and the implementation of good human resources management practices. Under this new program the province will reimburse all expenses related to digital skills training.
