IAB Canada is preparing for the State of the Nation event to be kicked off May 28th in Toronto followed by Halifax, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary in the first two weeks of June.
State of the Nation provides a forum for digital advertising professionals to gather and discuss all key areas of industry affairs. The event is designed as a town hall to provide each market across the country with important updates on media standards, emerging platforms, supply chain security matters and policy.
This year we will be discussing the direct to consumer phenomena, the adoption of security measures to prevent ad fraud, an update on viewability, brand safety and more. We will also provide details on IAB Canada’s advocacy efforts across several policy files including urgent information around PIPEDA amendments, Elections Canada regulation, Cannabis Advertising and Marketing to Kids.
