IAB Canada announced the release of the Canadian Digital Media Directory at last week’s State of the Nation event. The directory was developed as part of IAB Canada’s ongoing commitment to supporting domestic media and serves to provide comprehensive access to the incredible media opportunities available in Canada. This first of its kind tool, allows media investors to search by geography, media format, vertical and more. It also allows buyers to filter against gold standard supply chain parameters like ads.txt-enablement and other important brand safety and security features.
The Canadian Digital Media Directory is another example of how we are working to put Canadian media on the global stage. By sharing this directory with international IABs, we are able to draw attention to the great Canadian content that is ready for access from anywhere in the world.
The directory has launched as a V1 containing over 3,000 entries and will be updated organically as new information becomes available. If you would like to add or edit your presence in the system, please reach out to membership@iabcanada.com.
We would like to thank M32 who made this vision possible. The donation of the #nosmediaslocaux content provided a foundation on which the IAB Canada team could further expand the directory. We would also like to thank supporters of the project including Bell Media, CBC, Google, Spotify and Village Media.
Please note, this directory is not available for CSV or Excel downloading. Members looking to integrate allowlists into their DSPs to support Canadian News content, are encouraged to use the IAB Canada allowlist hosted by IAB Tech Lab that was developed to help technically support local media.
