Paul Burns and Claude Galipeau appointed to the Board of Directors, IAB Canada.
The Board of Directors is please to announce the appointment of Paul Burns, Vice President, Digital Media at Shaw Communications; and Claude Galipeau, Country Manager, at Yahoo Canada to the Board of Directors effective immediately.
Mr Burns has held leadership positions at Nokia, Bell and Canwest previous to the 3+ years he has been Vice President, Digital Media at Shaw Communications. Mr Burns also donates time as a Board Member of the Banff World Media Festival.
Mr Galipeau has held positions at Syncapse, Rogers, Bell and CBC prior to recently taking the position of Country Manager at Yahoo. Mr Galipeau also donates time with the Advisory Board at OCAD University and as a Board Member of the Banff World Media Festival. Claude has held senior policy advisor roles in the Ontario Government’s Cabinet and Premier’s Offices, as well as the Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs. He has been a senior advisor and lobbyist for the Paris based World Association of Newspapers, which is dedicated to economic freedom of the press.
