As the digital media industry continues to navigate the current realities of remote work, the practice of hiring new talent while retaining existing valued team members has become even more challenging. Perks that once drew top shelf candidates to an organization like prime office location, free gourmet lunches and/or ping pong tables, no longer apply.
In an effort to help our buy-side members stay competitive with their offering, IAB Canada is pleased to announce the release of our 2021 Agency Salary Survey. Survey results are offered as a hiring and compensation planning guide for Human Resources (HR) Managers and Executives working in the Digital Advertising industry across Canada.
Included in the report:
- Minimum, median and maximum salaries for 38 advertising agency roles, across 10 departments broken out nationally and by region (Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver);
- Insight into what standard benefits, parental leave top-ups, and vacation time allotments Canadian agencies are offering their employees;
- Average agency turnover rates broken out by department, agency size, and the location of the agency.
